"Guys come and go, but AIDS and STD's last forever."

"Planned Parenthood is a great place to come.  I'm 20 years old and I can go to any doctor I want (I do have insurance).  I choose Planned Parenthood because the staff is kind and caring.  I've been coming here since I'm 14 years old.  I would never change my doctor.  Thanks for being so nice, keep up the good work.

Thank you."

"I'm 36 years old and have 2 girls, 13 & 9, and three stepchildren, 18, 16, and 9.  Having a large family is hard work and very difficult, but I have my wife and all my children.  I'm here with my 16 year old stepdaughter.  I want her to be aware and to wait to have sex, but I also want to be safe using condoms and getting a shot that protects her for 3 months.  If something (sex) does occur, I don't want her to get a disease or pregnant, she has the rest of her life ahead of her.  There will be a time for sex, and there will be a time for children."

"Hey Everyone!

I just want to say always be careful and always use protection!  You will never know how scary it is to think you might have an STD or even AIDS!  I always used to think that it couldn't happen to me or anyone I know - boy, did I hit reality real fast!  My best friend of 12 years got tested positive for the HIV virus!  She only has another 6-8 months to live!  She was my life and I will never forget her and always miss her!  PLAY IT SAFE."

"I just wanted to say thank you Planned Parenthood for being so patient with me, always caring with kind of problem."

"Hi, I'm 23 years old.  I have a 4 year old son, a 3 year old daughter, and a 1 year old daughter.  I've read through this book and some things really bother me...I'm not going to tell you anything about condoms or birth control because no matter how old or young you are, you already know and have heard it 100 times.  Instead, let me explain my days and nights to you.

I'm up every morning by 6:30-7:00.  To start, I have a 4 year old with an attitude problem and a very bad temper.  He gets on the bus for Head Start at 7:55.  At this time, I have to put 3 children in my car to go to catch the bus.  I have a screaming 3 year old because she doesn't like to go to bed.  I come back home to a messy house.  My girls are hungry so I feed them, bathe them, dress them.  Usually by then my son's bus is coming so I wake up my 1 year old, screaming because I had to wake her up.  Get my son and collect a stating my son won't stop hitting and he has an attitude (like I didn't know this) and go home to clean my house with a miserable 3 year old because she can't get her own way.  Before you know it, it's supper time and I have again 3 screaming kids!

After supper, it's bath and PJ time at 8:00, it's bed time at 11:00.  I maybe will go to bed, if I'm lucky.  My 3 year old hates to sleep.  That's an easy day.  Can you imagine what I go through going to the store?  Do you have any idea how much "cute" clothes cost?

It's not easy.

It's not fun.

It's not a game!"

"This is my 1st time here.  I was scared but I am not anymore.  They are really nice people.  They listen to you and answer questions.  I brought a friend with me and she thought they were very nice.  they help you feel good about yourself.  I would recommend any girl or woman to come here.  They are great people.

Thank you Planned Parenthood."
